Odyssey and Voyageurs are eyeing their end goals, the Explorers are setting out on their final adventures, and the Adventurers are making the turn and heading for home. We’re entering the final week of session A and the groups are cruising.

Odyssey has made it to Abol Bridge Campground! They enjoyed some long-awaited (and well-deserved) ice cream and a few small treats from the store there. Tomorrow they will be making their way to the base of Mount Katahdin, in Baxter State Park. They are looking forward to their final ascent in the next few days.

Voyageur Men had a century day on Friday, in which they cycled 100 miles in one day! They rounded their way around the top half of the peninsula. Tonight they are in Digby and they plan to make their way to Yarmouth tomorrow, giving them an extra day before they have to make the ferry back to the USA!

Voyageur Women made their way from Liverpool to Pubnico today, finishing their century day as well! They will also be headed toward Yarmouth tomorrow, giving them an extra day before the ferry.

Katahdin departed for their hiking trip on Thursday. They have been making great time, reportedly getting into camp early each day thus far! Tonight they are staying at Piazza Rock Lean-to, before they make their way over the Saddlebacks tomorrow.

Nesuntabunt has been pedaling along through the White Mountains. They made it to Montpelier this afternoon, looking forward to tackling some delicious ice cream at the Ben & Jerry’s factory tomorrow!

Flag village had a lovely rest day in Boothbay Harbor today. The group enjoyed some delicious food and free time in the tourist town. They will begin their return trip tomorrow, and they are excited to be taking a ferry from Cook’s Island to Portland, Maine!

All of our explorer villages spent the entire day in camp today. Chocorua returned from their bike trip in high spirits yesterday. Today they passed the time by climbing in the Activity Center and they even hosted a well-attended tea party. They will be preparing for their canoe trip tomorrow. Shaw village went on their shakedown to the Ledge this afternoon. Madison spent their afternoon serving out in-camp community humble, by helping with small tasks for various teams around camp. Both boy villages will be going on their hiking trips tomorrow. Jefferson village also went on a shakedown today for their bike trip. They enjoyed lunch at Skelley’s and are psyched to begin their trip tomorrow. All of the explorer villages got together for a rousing game of capture the flag before bed tonight.
