Landon has been involved with Miniwanca and AYF since 2011. He initially joined the community as the child of a seasonal staff member before becoming deeply involved in AYF programming. He spent many years as a camper and participant in Boys Camp, the Four Trails program, and the National Leadership Conference.
Upon joining seasonal staff in 2021, he served in a variety of roles, including Cabin Leader, Four Trails Trip Leader, Summer Camp Coordinator, Community and School Programs Facilitator and Program Coordinator, National Leadership Conference Staff, Driver, and even a St. Louis bus chaperone!
He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Michigan University and carries years of experience working with youth in both the classroom and outdoor settings to his role as the Four Trails Program Manager. Landon is fiercely passionate about AYF’s mission of empowering youth through powerful outdoor experiences, and looks forward to continuing to create these experiences as he joins our full-time team.
In his free time, Landon loves long walks in the woods, reading, playing Mario Kart, and spending time with friends, family, and his beloved dogs, Luna and Jovi.
