These young teens develop their best selves as they take on leadership roles within the camper community. Adventurers continue their Four Trails program combining a 8-day hiking trip in the Bigelow Range in Maine, with a 6-day canoe trip on the beautiful Allagash River. These trips increase in challenge as Adventurers progress, allowing for self-discovery and leadership. Adventurer is full for 2026. Interested campers will be added to a waitlist. We encourage interested campers to consider Pathfinder.

Adventurers navigate the Au Sable River on a 10-day canoe adventure that concludes in Lake Huron. Campers work as a team to overcome challenges on the water and make camp beneath the stars. Before and after their trip, they fully participate in the Miniwanca camp community.

Avail high-school age campers develop their leadership skills through teambuilding, self-reflection, group conversation, and mentorship from dynamic adult leaders.
