Torchbearer is the next step in our Pathfinder program, a four-year progression of in-camp programming for our oldest campers. The Torchbearer program prepares these teens for the next chapter in their lives as empowered young adults by learning new soft and hard skills. Campers will have the opportunity of opting into programming to complete certified training in archery, Wilderness First Aid, and lifeguard training through the American Red Cross. They exercise leadership in our camp community and leave their unique mark on Merrowvista. The entire community will celebrate Torchbearer’ contributions with great fanfare.
