Miniwanca was filled with laughter as the campers headed into another typical day. Campers spent their morning with friends in various interest groups, sporting newly painted nails from the Wanca Spa or taking a quick dip in Lake Michigan. Both the sun and the smiles were shining.
The afternoon was packed with fun, from rock-paper-scissor challenges at Assembly to the last day of afternoon interest groups for the week. Assembly brought the energy back into campers after the calming rest hour. After they had all been reenergized, campers headed off to interest group rotations two and three. At the climbing wall and challenge course, campers reached all sorts of goals, while archers perfected their positions and practiced their aim.
All Girls Camp gathered at Night’s Doings for the Low Quad Circle, where quads showcased the songs and skits they’ve been preparing throughout the week at quad meetings and free times. Campers displayed their performances in front of four esteemed judges and competed for quad points.
The scoring was close, and in the end, the Draw Quad took the win with a tie for second between the Ridges and the Dunes, with Trails taking third. The Low Circle may have finished with a winner but the grand competition for the shield is far from over.
