Camp Counselors and Adventure Trip Leaders

Our camp counselors live with and are responsible for cabin groups of 4 to 8 campers and lead activity groups during the day.

Adventure trip leaders co-lead cabin groups of 10 to 12 campers during multiday backpacking and/or canoeing trips.

Program Specialist

Program Area Specialists work to create and teach a safe and exciting activities for campers. There are specialist positions for several different key areas of camp, including waterfront activities, climbing, games and activities, and much more.

Food and Facilities

The food program and facilities teams are vital members of our camp community. The food program team prepares three meals from scratch daily, and the facilities team ensures our sites are safe, beautiful, and ready for fun.

Photographers and Support Staff

Camp photographers document daily life at camp to share with families and for greater AYF marketing needs. Office support staff greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with mail and package deliveries each day.

Health Staff

The Health Team is responsible for ensuring the safety and well being of each camper, including providing first aid care, overseeing the administration of medications to campers, coordinating visits to a physician when needed, monitoring health and cleanliness standards, and keeping camper medical records organized.

Early Childhood Caretakers

These caretakers develop and implement a discovery day program for children of camp staff (generally pre-camp, potentially ages 1 to 7). Some evening duties may also be required as the needs of the program dictate.
