Miniwanca will host Boys Camp Reunion in September
February 23, 2026

The boys are back in town – at Miniwanca, that is. The American Youth Foundation will welcome alumni back to East Camp for a special Miniwanca Boys Camp Reunion Sept. 4 to 7.

Miniwanca Executive Director Griffin Vogler is thrilled to bring this incredible community back to the dunes for a long weekend of fun and reconnection.

“We had great Boys Camp alumni representation at the 2025 Homecoming, and we want to keep the momentum going,” she says. “We have been planning a Boys Camp Reunion for quite some time, and we’re very excited to get it off the ground!”

Alumni of all Miniwanca Boys Camp programs, including Older Boys and Younger Boys camps, are encouraged to attend. Participants, who must be 18 or older, will enjoy three days to visit with old friends, rediscover favorite memories, and connect with the values of best self and balanced living.

Director of Community and School Programs Michael Harter and Boys Camp Director Tiwi Freeman are convening an Alumni Planning Committee.

“This group will help us build a schedule that reflects beloved Boys Camp traditions and connection the community,” Michael says. “We’re looking for alums from across the decades to help us plan a truly memorable, meaningful weekend.”

Interested in joining the committee? Email Michael at miniwancacsp@ayf.com.

Participants will enjoy the full camp experience, including the option to stay onsite in rustic cabins (now featuring screens!) or dorm-style housing. All meals and activities are included in the cost of the program.

Registration will open March 1 – sign up for our email list and check the Adult Programs box to get the link straight to your inbox.

“Miniwanca Boys Camp has changed the lives of thousands in the last century,” Michael says. “We can’t wait to honor those traditions and celebrate this wonderful community with members from every generation.”
