Share Your AYF Story

Everyone has a story to tell.
The American Youth Foundation has transformed countless young people and their families in the last 100 years, and everyone has a story. For some, the AYF philosophy is a family tradition passed down through generations. For others, the AYF is a new experience that opens an entire world of connection and community in the outdoors.
Whatever your AYF story, we hope you’ll share it with us.
Record a video that shares your camp story and upload it to our Dropbox.
Share Your AYF Story
We do this by:

Here’s a few tips:

  • Brevity is appreciated! Please keep videos to 3 minutes or less.
  • Make sure you are well lit. We recommend facing a window during the day for the best natural light.
  • Hold your phone horizontally (landscape) up at eye level so you’re looking directly at the camera. We want to see your whole face. Better yet, have someone record you!
  • Don’t worry about getting every word exactly right. Just relax and tell us your favorite AYF story!
Media Release: By sharing videos or photos with the AYF, you give permission to the AYF to use those photos, videos, or reproductions of your likeness or voice for education and promotional purposes. You waive the right for any future claims, including remuneration.
