The Trailblazers enjoy a morning chat

Wednesday was a typical day in Boys Camp, but the hot weather kept it interesting. After breakfast and first Interest Group our age groups met for Community Time. The Darers continued to get to know each other through playing multiple kinds of tag. The Challengers met with the Adventure Team to be challenged with some team building initiatives. The Seniors beat the heat by tubing down the creek.

Then it was time for Tribal Games! The Beaches and the Sands met to play Pin Can Dodgeball, with the Beaches getting the victory. The Breakers and Creeks played each other in Smashball and Ultimate Frisbee, with the Breakers winning in both.

After lunch and r est hour we all met in Council Circle for Assembly. Cabin D3 was crowned the cleanest cabin when their leader, Chance, drew the best portrait of John Coombs in the leader challenge. Boys Camp was whipped into a frenzy by the latest paddle clue, “A few of my favorite things.” During free time later in the day swarms of campers were seen roaming all over Boys Camp in hunt of the tiny prize. No winners yet, but perhaps another clue will shed some light on it.

Night’s Doings was Cabin Night, with each cabin selecting something to do around camp. We had campers on the high ropes course and climbing tower, building amazing things with Legos, enjoying s’mores, and playing at the waterfront. It was a nice simple night for continued cabin bonding.

All in all, it was a great day in Boys Camp!
