We write with great sadness to share that Steve Schrepper, Facilities Manager at Miniwanca, passed away on Monday morning from late stage stomach cancer.
All of us remember Steve as a kind and gentle loving soul. He was not only a hard worker, but most impressively he was a man of great character who embraced fully the mission of the AYF. Steve understood that how we interact with others is as important as any projects we work to complete. He lived this throughout his life and stood as a model of best self.
Steve was a gift to Miniwanca, bringing talent and ability to ‘fix anything’ with a deep care for the site and our mission. He leaves a team of family, friends and colleagues who will miss him sorely.
