Merrowvista Volunteer and Family Weekend

Merrowvista Volunteer and Family Weekend will take place May 13 to 15.

Support the mission of the AYF and help prepare Merrowvista for summer 2022 during Volunteer Weekends!

We meet at Merrowvista on Friday evening and share a meal while we connect with old friends and make new ones.  Saturday will focus on service to the site. We will clean, rake, dig, paint, repair, and replace to help prepare this beautiful place for the hundreds of participants who will visit in 2022.

Larger scale-projects like building a compost shed could use the assistance of a licensed tradespeople like carpenters and electricians. If you can donate your trade-specific skillset, please contact Director of Operations Amy Simmons. Our workday will conclude with a delicious meal and celebratory Community Fire. Sunday will offer time to reflect on the weekend and optional activities.

Volunteer Weekends are free to attend, and registration is required. We encourage you to make a donation to help us cover the costs of food and housing, which are included.

Online registration opens in early 2022.
