As a non-profit, AYF relies on the support of our community, made up of adults who have experienced and been shaped by our programs, families of our participants, as well as youth and staff members and the broader community. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle administered by a public charity and created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an organization, family, or individual. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.
If you have a donor-advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to the American Youth Foundation directly from your DAF, as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating.

Many options are available for making a planned gift to The American Youth Foundation. These include bequests, life insurance, retirement plan contributions, and real estate. Gifts in honor or memory of someone special serve as a tribute to a loved one and/or someone who has impacted your life. The American Youth Foundation will send an acknowledgment card as directed by the donor. Please provide the full name and address of the person(s) you wish for us to inform of your donation and any special message preferred.

While most people think about monetary donations to help support the American Youth Foundation, donations of goods and services can be extremely valuable to further the AYF mission as well.
